Safety Philosophy
When Walt brought Brad on to lead safety, he was clear about one thing: no job is so important that it can’t take the time to be done safely. That standard still guides everything we do today, for our crew and every subcontractor working alongside us.

It takes more than good intentions to keep everyone safe. Here’s how we actively avoid risks.
OSHA 10 & 30
With more than one authorized OSHA 10 & 30 instructor on staff, training isn’t a one-and-done checkbox. Our team gets ongoing, hands-on instruction, and when a safety question comes up on-site, there’s always someone with a real answer.
Harness & Fall Protection
Every employee checks their own harness daily before it’s ever used, and our Safety Director conducts an official inspection annually on top of that. Working on bin roofs and catwalks means we’re often high in the air, so we make sure fall protection procedures are second nature.
Machinery & Equipment
Every piece of equipment on-site, from telehandlers to forklifts, demands knowledge to operate safely. That’s why our crew gets certified before they’re ever behind the controls.
Meet Brad, Our Safety Director
Since 2014, Brad has led the development of our safety program. He came with real experience protecting people, including time served as a Deputy Sheriff, and he has continued to build a program our crew can rely on.
Today, Brad brings:
- On-staff authorized OSHA 10 & 30 instruction
- Certified EMT and CPR training
- Annual training with outside experts, from ladder safety specialists to workers’ comp instructors
That means our crew gets direct access to real safety expertise, in-house and year-round.
